Hintersee in Felbertal

Surrounded by majestic peaks and clear mountain lakes, the Felbertal invites you to unforgettable hiking experiences.

The Hintersee lies picturesquely nestled between steep rock faces at an altitude of 1,313 m. At around 550 m long and up to 10 m deep, it is the largest of the Mittersill lakes. Its water is so clear that you can see all the way to the bottom. Great view of the Schleier waterfall with a drop of 80 meters.

Krimml waterfalls

The fifth highest in the world!

They are impressive, mystical and unique: The Krimml Waterfalls in Salzburg's Pinzgau are an overwhelming experience with a total fall of 380 m over three cascades.

As the fifth highest waterfalls in the world, they offer an impressive natural spectacle and photo opportunities in abundance. A dedicated hiking trail leads very close to this spectacle of water and light,
which is framed by the magnificent backdrop of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The Krimml Waterfalls can also be reached by mountain taxi.

Climb the peaks by mountain bike
